Medicaid – Day of Action

DAY OF ACTION TO CLOSE THE COVERAGE GAP
Wednesday, May 13, 2015
9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Missouri State Capitol

Time is running out for the Missouri Legislature to act to close an insurance coverage gap for 300,000 uninsured Missourians.  Another way of saying the same thing is that without Medicaid Expansion, 700 Missourians could die unnecessary deaths in the coming year—something that may be just statistics to some people, but devastating losses for those who love and care about them.

The last in-Capitol Medicaid Expansion Action Day before the Legislature adjourns is coming soon on May 13.  Transportation will be provided from Columbia, Joplin, Kansas City, Springfield and St. Louis. Lunch will also be provided.
